Pokażemy „Konia turyńskiego” w reżyserii zmarłego na początku roku Béli Tarra.

KOŃ TURYŃSKI
reż. Béla Tarr, Ágnes Hranitzky | FRA, DEU, CHE, HUN 2011 | 150 min

Ostatni film Béli Tarra to niesamowita wizja kompletnego rozpadu świata, więzi i wartości.

UWAGA! Filmy, animacje, wideoklipy, gry komputerowe prezentowane w ramach festiwalu mogą zawierać treści i obrazy wywołujące dyskomfort (m.in. przemoc, przemoc seksualna, przemoc słowna, nagość). Sekwencje z migotaniem mogą wpłynąć na osoby wrażliwe na światło. Niektóre filmy i wydarzenia zawierają intensywne efekty dźwiękowe.

The stunning Bom Belle will present the awards to the winners of the Black Horse Film, Animation, Music Video and Video Games competitions, after which we’ll be screening a special film – a tribute to the great filmmaker and guest of the first edition of our festival in 2011. We will be screening *The Turin Horse*, directed by Béla Tarr, who passed away earlier this year.

TURIN HORSE
dir. Béla Tarr, Ágnes Hranitzky | FRA, DEU, CHE, HUN 2011 | 150 min

Béla Tarr’s final film is an incredible vision of the complete collapse of the world, relationships and values. A recurring theme in the Hungarian director’s work has once again found its way onto the screen in this two-and-a-half-hour chronicle of six days in the life of an elderly man and his daughter, a film hypnotising in its monotony. We observe the everyday lives of these characters as they go about their mundane, routine activities. There are few events or plot twists in Tarr’s work. The director relies on atmosphere, and a meticulously crafted visual and audio design. Comprising just 30 shots, this black-and-white film, accompanied by a constantly recurring musical motif, is steeped in an oppressive gloom, occasionally contrasted with the greyness of the outdoor scenery.

PLEASE NOTE! Films, animations, music videos, and video games presented as part of the festival may contain content and imagery that could cause discomfort (including violence, sexual violence, verbal abuse, and nudity). Sequences with flickering may affect people who are sensitive to light. Some films and events contain intense sound effects.
